Ivan took his experience and training, and put them to work in fictional justice stories. He first published the Bloody Shield in 2009. Shortly thereafter, he was asked to facilitate a murder mystery dinner party. Twelve months later, he wrote and directed his own mystery party; Murder on the High Seas. Twelv years later, he unveiled another murder mystery puzzle; The Deadly Audit. In 2026, he unveiled another puzzle; Disco Inferno.

Ivan spent close to 30 years in public contact work with 25 years in Civil Service. He then spent 7 years as an Employee Relations Specialist for a non-profit Social Enterprise.  

Ivan is an ADR Specialist with emphasis on Employment Law, Business Law and Consumer Law.

In his spare time, Ivan loves to cook and he has a side-hustle of Leatherwork. Ivan lives on the outskirts of Bremerton, Washington with his Chihuahua; Anniken.
