About Farnham Common Community Library

In October 2011 Farnham Common became one of the first libraries within Buckinghamshire to transition to Community Library status, where all library services are organised and run by unpaid local volunteers. The library has charitable trust status controlled by Friends of the Library with a management committee elected annually by the Friends. If you would like to contribute to the running of the library please consider joining our team by volunteering or by making a donation to the library.

We work in the same way as a County Library and books can be returned to any other library in the Buckinghamshire County system. We pride ourselves on being a valuable resource within the community. We offer a wide range of brand new fiction and non-fiction titles, PCs with internet access, free wi-fi, photocopying, laminating, magazines as well as help with I.T. issues. We also have regular children's activities, including a weekly Lego Club in term time, a wide programme of events, coffee mornings and book clubs.
