Grading

Each section of the grading process is weighted equally.

• Homework (5 points/assignment)

  • • • Homework is graded on completion or on an attempt. If the concept was not understood, reteaching will occur in the classroom. Independence and responsibility are encouraged.

• Quizzes/Unit Review (20-25 points/quiz or review)

  • • • Quizzes occur about every 5 lessons

      • Unit Review at the completion of each unit (10-15 lessons)

• Classwork/Participation (5 points/day)

  • • • Student is attentive and willing to work/ask for help. Promotes classroom atmosphere in a positive way.
