I have been a wife since 1997, a mom since 2002, and a teacher since 1991. My older daughter is a cast member at Disneyland. My younger daughter is a PhD student in pharmacology in New York, and my husband is an engineer. I enjoy running, traveling, and going to Disney Parks with my family.

I have taught every grade from Kindergarten through 8th grade, and my greatest educational passion is making math meaningful and understandable. I believe all students can achieve the highest levels in school, that mistakes are great times for our brains, that discussions and hands-on experiences make learning come alive, and that change can only happen when we are challenged. I love to help students find their own potential.
