The 2021-2022 school year marks my 11th year teaching full-time at Buckeye Elementary.
Before working in education, I was a businesswoman. Using my Bachelor of Science in Business degree I worked in the field of advertising and marketing.
While volunteering in my children's classrooms here at Buckeye, I realized my true passion is teaching children. I earned my teaching credential and never looked back. I've been part of the Buckeye family for over 19 years. I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. I LOVE teaching 4th graders. They are amazing humans!
Buckeye is a fabulous school, full of wonderful families and dedicated staff. I truly enjoy teaching, and there is no other place I'd rather be teaching than here! I feel that learning should be fun, engaging, and challenging. In my teaching, I utilize my creativity, love of technology, and own joy of learning to inspire my students to become life-long learners.
I have been married to my husband for twenty-six years. We have two children. Our oldest just graduated in 2020, from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Physics. Our youngest is attending school at the University of Nevada Reno (UNR). Both our kids came through Buckeye, Camerado, then Ponderosa. We live in a great community.
