Teaching/Work Experience:

I have been lucky enough to teach 6th grade at Buckeye for nineteen years, and I truly love my job!

Before teaching, I was a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), working on personal and business accounts and doing taxes. Although I really enjoyed accounting, I decided to change directions. I made the difficult decision to go back to school and earn a degree in education and teach. This was ABSOLUTELY one of the best decisions I have ever made!

Education:

Masters in Education - Marygrove College

Licensure in Education/Grades 4-8/Math and Language Arts - Cleveland State University

Bachelor of Accountancy - Baldwin Wallace University

Personal Life:

I was born and raised in England, and my family moved to the United States when I was ten years old. I am married to Alan Abraham, who recently retired. We have three wonderful adult children, Claire, who works in digital marketing and is married, and they have an ADORABLE baby named Vivienne, Annie, an office manager for Hastings, and Chris, who works in environmental science. I love swimming, hiking, reading, and spending time with my family.
