Buckeye Junior High School

Counselor's Page

Welcome to the Buckeye Junior High School's Counselor Page!

School counseling is a developmental process in which the counselor provides students with guidance, encouragement, and inspiration in order to manage and resolve academic, personal, and relationship issues, and help students achieve goals. Buckeye Junior High School's comprehensive counseling program facilitates student development in three domains: Academic, Career/College, and Social-Emotional. We strive to follow the ASCA National Model and Ohio Standards for Counselors. This is accomplished through individual and group counseling, classroom guidance, and consultation with parents and teachers.

If there is something getting in the way of your student being successful, either here at school or at home, we provide tools and guidance to help remove those barriers, whatever they may be.

Please don't hesitate to call or email with any questions or concerns you might have. Updates and other important information will be posted throughout the school year on this page.
