College Credit Plus is the opportunity for eligible students in grades 7-12 to receive free college credit prior to high school graduation. Buckeye High School has an in house partnership with Cuyahoga Community College. We have also worked with The University of Akron, Lorain County Community College, Ashland University, Cleveland State University, and The Ohio State University.
Students who would like to participate in CCP for the 2025-2026 school year will have the opportunity to attend an informational meeting on January 15th in the Buckeye High School Auditorium. After that time, any student who plans to take CCP courses must complete and turn the Intent to Participate Form and Acknowledgement forms no later than April 1st (this is a state mandated deadline).
The Medina County Career Center is an exciting and awesome opportunity for our juniors and seniors to gain hands on training and skills while preparing for their future careers. Students are able to not only earn employment credentials, but many of the career majors now have the potential for college credit as well!
The Medina County Career Center is highly competitive; student applications will be assessed based on GPA, attendance, and discipline. Students interested in applying must stay on track both freshmen and sophomore year to be eligible.
