Welcome to Blair-Taylor Middle School!

The start of middle school can be an anxious time for students and their parents. There is excitement at a new beginning, the chance to meet new friends, have more class options and become more independent right alongside the stress of the unknown and the often negative reputation of “middle school.” As parents, we often wonder how we can best prepare our children to make the transition from elementary to middle school and how to support them during their first year in a new environment. We have created this google site to provide some guidance along the way!

This site will take the place of our CAT Talks that were scheduled throughout the month of May. You will need to use your CAT Talk agenda (found below) and follow the instruction steps I have provided. If you have your paper copy agenda, feel free to take notes as you go along. If you have questions after running through this 'meeting', please feel free to contact us.
