It also features real-time collaboration, so you can edit together with a colleague or students.

Matific is a wonderful tool for K-6 math students. It has great interactive games and lesson plans tied to Canadian Curriculum. If you just have students go to the site they will have access to some of the activities, but if you sign in as a teacher with your Google account and create a class code, you can manage their progress and unlock activities.
It works great on Chromebooks by going to the site, but also has Android and iOS apps as well. Click beside for a video about one of the activities.
At Buffalo Trail we are reimagining the stereotypical view of coding to be more about intellectually engaging our students. Coding is fast becoming a new type of literacy that should be available to everyone. Coding is the necessary tool of this century; becoming literate in code is as essential to being literate in language and math.
We want our students’ to be critical thinkers and reflect on their learning. Using coding in the classroom encourages collaboration, communication, innovation, problem-solving, and personal growth.
