This retreat is an intentional space designed by and for Black trans men and transmasculine people.
In a world that often demands survival, this is a space rooted in care, and connection, and room to just exist without pressure.
Through wellness practices, shared experiences, and time to simply exist, participants are invited to reconnect with themselves and each other.

Folks seeking rest, healing, and meaningful connection
Whether this is your first time in a space like this or you’ve been in community for years, you belong here.
Priority is given to Ohio-based participants. Limited space may be available for thouse traveling from out of state.
Black trans men and transmasculine people deserve spaces that affirm our full humanity—not just our survival, but our joy, rest, and healing.
The Wellness and Resilience Retreat exists to create that space.

Black Transmen of Ohio (BTMO) exists to promote equity and transform the lives of Black transgender men and transmasculine individuals across Ohio by increasing visibility, cultivating community, facilitating access to vital resources, and advocating for our rights—empowering our people to thrive socially, economically, and personally.
