AP Calculus

AP Calculus AB/BC is a course that covers the topics outlined in the College Board Curriculum Framework for Advanced Placement Calculus. The emphasis of the class is to prepare students to take the AP Exam at the end of the school year with the opportunity to earn college credit.

The format of the class is quite different from a typical high school classroom. Students are held highly accountable for their own learning. Most content is learned through videos watched outside of class (replacing typical lecture time) leaving class time available for practice, discussion, and assessment. Students are assessed often and are accountable for all class material at any time.
