The Schoology gradebook operates similar to most online gradebooks. The videos below outline some of the features associated with Schoology's gradebook. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us!
This video not only shows how to add grading categories and rubrics to a Schoology course, but is also shows how to copy that grade set up to other courses (or from archived courses to new courses) with a few clicks
Bulk editing allows you to see all your course materials at once, giving you the ability to change things such as:
Publish/Unpublish
Category
Max points
Grading Factor
Associated Rubric
Due Date
Marking Period
This video shows how to create grade reports for individual students, or multiple students in a Schoology course.
The filters within the grade book can help you organize/visualize the grades based on things like (but not limited to):
Grading group
Due date
Material type
Grading period
Occasionally, when looking at your grade book specific grades may not be visible. Often times, adjusting the filters can help "find" these missing grades.
Like many other online grade books, the Schoology grade book allows you to manually enter grades, mass enter grades (assign the same grade to multiple students), and mark assignments as excused, missing, etc.
