Your teacher may ask you to join a live session using Zoom. YOU DO NOT NEED TO DOWNLOAD Zoom if you are using a Chromebook, PC or laptop. Simply click on the link that the teacher provided in Google Classroom. If this does not work then contact icrummie@bst.ac.jp. If you are using a mobile device or tablet you will need to download the Zoom app.

Expectations of students during Zoom sessions

• Students must turn their camera on

• Students should have their microphone muted unless the teacher asks them to talk.

• Students must be in an appropriate space to learn; not their bedroom.

• Students must wear appropriate clothing (not pyjamas)

• Parents do need to monitor their child's online usage and we recommend that all computers are used in a family space.

• Students should use their first name and first letter of their last name as their onscreen name (e.g. Iain Crummie would become Iain C.) No nicknames. Anyone who's name is not recognised will not be admitted to the session.

• A student who has been given three warnings regarding inappropriate behaviour in a single session will be removed from the session and not readmitted for 30 minutes. Once 30 minutes has passed, the teacher will allow the student back into the session. If the session has ended the student will be allowed into the next session when it starts. Parents will be notified.
