• EYFS-Year 2 SeeSaw is the platform we will use for teachers to share specific instructions with the children through daily morning Zoom lessons. SeeSaw allows children to easily upload examples of their learning in almost any format – creating a digital portfolio. Children, parents and teachers can all comment on the learning – reinforcing the partnership between home and school as well as ensuring that the learning is interactive. What will this look like?

• Years 3 - 6 we will use Google Classroom as the main virtual space for teacher-class communication. Each class and specialist group has their own 'classroom' where assignments are set, with instructions given through presentations, pre-recorded video or screencasts. Students can post questions or share their ideas within the classroom and the teacher monitors this space closely.  In addition to this, Seesaw may be used as a platform for submitting work and receiving feedback when appropriate.

• Feedback will be provided on a daily basis. This will be given in small groups, whole class sessions,1:1 teacher feedback which can be either written feedback or given verbally. Every morning will commence with a morning meeting. This will provide an opportunity to discuss the day ahead and provide time to focus on student wellbeing. Each day will end with a 30 minute whole class session allowing students an opportunity to give feedback and ask questions if they are unsure about anything. 

• The majority of the school week will be delivered live via zoom in either small groups or whole class sessions. If the word independent is written on the timetable then students are expected to work on their own and feedback will be provided after completion of the task.

• For students who require additional support in areas of learning our Student Support Services team will be in touch with the allocated times as to when they can offer the support which may be in small groups or 1:1.

• EYFS (Early Year Foundation StageとよばれるNurseryとReception) – Y2生徒のリモートラーンニングは別途ご案内しているSeeSawを使います。学習内容は毎日のZOOMセッション内でSeeSawを使って説明されます。SeeSawは生徒が簡単に課題のUploadをしたり、管理したりすることができるプラットフォームです。教師だけでなく、保護者もコメントや感想を書き込むことができるため、家庭と学校が共にお子さまの学習に関わり、連携した学習を進めることが出来ます。

• Y3－Y6生徒のリモートラーンニングは主にGoogle Classroomで行われます。各クラス、グループごとにClassroomが用意され、それぞれの課題や説明プレゼンテーション、動画等が用意されます。Classroomにはそれぞれ担当の教師がつき、学習をモニターします。生徒はClassroomで質問や意見を投稿したり、教師からの回答、フィードバックを受けることが出来ます。尚、Y3－Y6の学年でも課題の提出等の目的でSeeSawを使用する場合があります。

• 教師からのフィードバックは毎日あります。グループ、クラス全体のセッション、そして生徒一人一人に向けたフィードバックがされます。毎朝、朝のミーティングから始まります。朝のミーティングは生徒一人一人のその日の体調、様子を確認したり、その日の学習内容について話し合う機会です。そして一日の終わりにも30分のクラス全体ミーティングを行います。その日一日の学習内容について話合ったり、何か分からなかったことがあれば生徒はここで質問し、翌日に備えることが出来ます。

• 平日の学習は、グループごと、またはクラス全体でのZOOMセッションで行われます。ただし、時間割（スケジュール）にある「independent」の時間は、生徒が各自で課題に取り組み作業する時間です。完了した課題は提出し、フィードバックをもらいます。

• 追加の学習サポートが必要な生徒は、Student Support Services teamがサポートのアレンジをいたします。グループごとでの学習、または1対1での学習が必要に応じてスケジュールされます。

• Do try and establish a routine. It won’t look exactly like a regular school day as their routine needs to fit in with your family’s routine. However we have provided all age groups have a daily schedule which closely aligns with a normal school day. 

• In Years 1 - 6, children are more independent and are expected to follow the school day closely (9am to 3:30pm) but there is still flexibility for breaks to fit in with family routines. For our EYFS children, who need adult support for many of their learning tasks, there is more flexibility and choice so that families can create their own schedules to suit their particular situation. 

• Help facilitate your child’s learning by taking an interest in the tasks. Please encourage them to work independently and if they require your support do help them by discussing the task. Do try and avoid correcting their mistakes or doing the work for them. They need to be able to make mistakes and learn from them through the feedback given by their class teacher.

• Do discuss any concerns or questions you have with the class teacher. This is best done through an email exchange or an arranged time in a zoom call. 

• 家庭での学習は家族のスケジュールやルーチンもあり、普段の学校生活と全く同じスケジュールで進めることは難しいでしょう。学校は各学年の生徒に合わせた学習カリキュラムとスケジュールを準備していますが、小さなお子さまのリモートラーンニングはどうしてもご家族のご協力が必要となります。出来るだけ学習スケジュールに沿った日々のルーチンを作っていただき、学習をサポートしてあげてください

• Y1からY6の生徒はリモートラーンニングの環境であっても可能な限り通常の学校生活のスケジュール（午前9時から午後3時30分）に合わせた学習をすることが期待されています。保護者の監督が必要なEYFS (Early Year Foundation Stage)のNurseryとReceptionの生徒については家族のスケジュールに合わせた、無理のない、より柔軟なスケジュールで学習を行ってください。

• お子さまがやっている課題はどんなものなのか、どのように学習しているのか、興味をもって見てあげてください。課題について話し合ってみてください。子どもたちは先生からのフィードバックを受け、間違えながら学んでいます。是非「間違いを正す」「やってあげる」のではなく、間違うことを奨励し、お子さまが自ら学ぶサポートをしてあげてください。

• 不明点、懸念点はいつでもクラス担任、担当教師にご連絡ください。メールでのご連絡はもちろん、ZOOM会議等の機能を使ってお話をさせていただきます。

When changes are forced upon a community it is very important to focus on your family’s well-being. One of the attributes of the BST Learner Profile is resilience and  in the Remote Learning situation, this becomes particularly meaningful. It will take resilience to face adversity and maintain a positive attitude. These are suggestions that you can use as a way to support your family’s well-being. Talk about your plan as a family, and schedule it into your family recreation time. 

1. Connect: Have a regular family dinner, arrange a family games or quiz night, and have fun together. Make the time to stay connected to family and friends through regular video and voice calls.

2. Sleep: Good quality and regular sleep is vital for maintaining mental wellbeing. Insist on a regular bedtime routine for your children and avoid any screens an hour before bed. 

3. Eat Well: A nutritious, balanced diet helps to support physical and mental development. Make it a family activity and involve your child(ren) in the preparations. 

4. Practice Gratitude: Make it part of your daily routine to think of 3 things you and each member of your family is grateful for. This makes everyone stay positive and ensures that everyone starts the day in a positive frame of mind.

5. Give: Think of ways in which you can show random acts of kindness to one another. Look at ways in which you can connect and support your community or as a family choose an organisation you wish to support. 

外的要因により変化する環境の中で、家族の精神的、身体的健康に注意を払うことはとても重要なことです。 BST Learner Profileの一つとして、「強靭であること」があります。強く高い回復力を持つことは、リモート学習の状況では特に大切になります。逆境に立ち向かい、前向きな姿勢を維持するには、回復力が必要です。ここに挙げたことを実行することで、家族の精神的、身体的健康に役立てることができます。家族と話し合い、家族のレクリエーションタイムとして実践してみてください。

• つながる：家族との夕食の時間をもちましょう。家族でゲームやクイズをする時間をつくり、楽しむようにしましょう。電話やビデオ通話等で、家族、親戚、友人とのつながりを保つようにしましょう。

• 睡眠：精神的健康を保つためには、質の高い十分な睡眠が不可欠です。毎日の就寝時間を決め規則的な生活を心がけましょう。また就寝1時間前にはすべてのデバイス（携帯電話、iPad、TV等）の使用を止めましょう。

• 食事：栄養価の高いバランスの取れた食事は、身体的および精神的発達をサポートします。親子で出来る活動として一緒に楽しみながら食事の準備をしましょう。

• 感謝：日々の生活の中で、あなたとあなたの家族が感謝していること、うれしく思っていることを3つ考えるようにしましょう。これにより、前向きな気持ちを保つことができ、意欲的に一日を始めることができます。

• 与える：どのようにしたら人にやさしく、親切にできるかを考えてみましょう。社会やコミュニティーとのつながりを持ち、貢献することを考え、家族でサポートしたい団体や組織を選んでみましょう。 

We know from our research that when online participation goes up among any age group, so too does exposure to potential harms. At BST safeguarding our students is a priority at all times. In our virtual learning environment, the ways in which our staff and students interact may be different, but we remain committed to providing a safe environment for each of our students, following our code of conduct guidelines. The school regularly assesses the safety risks of any online platforms or tools used with students. There is advice here on setting up filters and privacy settings for parents. All 1:1 Zoom sessions will be recorded.

Working together online means students and teachers are engaging in learning environments that are more informal and different from the usual professional classroom environment. This means we need to have very clear expectations for the students.

• Students must turn their camera on

• Students should have their microphone muted unless the teacher asks them to talk.

• Students must be in an appropriate space to learn; not their bedroom.

• Students must wear appropriate clothing (not pyjamas).

• Parents do need to monitor their child's online usage and we recommend that all computers are used in a family space.

• Students should use their first name and first letter of their last name as their onscreen name (e.g. Iain Crummie would become Iain C.) No nicknames. Anyone who's name is not recognised will not be admitted to the session.

• A student who has been given three warnings regarding inappropriate behaviour in a single session may be removed from the session and not readmitted for 30 minutes. Once 30 minutes has passed, the teacher will allow the student back into the session. If the session has ended the student will be allowed into the next session when it starts. Parents will be notified. 

残念ながらインターネット上のアクティビティが増えることによる関連トラブルの増加は否めません。BSTでは、生徒の安全を守ることは常に最優先事項です。これはオンライン環境で行われるリモートラーニングでも同じで、スタッフ全員が行動規範のガイドラインに従って、生徒一人一人に安全な環境を提供することに取り組んでいます。BSTでは生徒が使用するオンラインプラットフォームやツールにつき、安全上のリスクを定期的に調査し、確認しています。保護者が設定できる制限機能とプライバシー設定についてのまとめはこちらのページより参照いただけます。尚、すべての1：1  ZOOMセッションは生徒の安全保護のため記録（録画）されます。

オンラインで一緒に作業するということは、通常の教室での授業とは異なります。そのような環境で授業を進めるためには、より明確な教師からの指示が必要であると共により明確な生徒のアクションが期待されます。

• 生徒はカメラをオンにしましょう。

• 指示があるまではマイク（音声）はオフとし、ミュートにしておきましょう。

• オンライン授業は寝室などでなく、学習に適した場所で受けましょう。

• 服装もきちんとしましょう（パジャマ等不適切はものはNG）。

• 保護者はお子さまのオンライン時間、使用法について不適切でないかをモニターしてください。生徒はオンライン授業（活動）をリビングなどのファミリースペースで受けることを推奨します。

• 生徒が使用する画面上表示の名前は、名前と姓の最初の頭文字（大文字記載）を使用します。例：Iain Crummie → Iain Cになります）。ニックネームは使用禁止です。名前が認識されないと、オンライン授業セッションに参加できません。

• セッション内での不適切な行動に関して、3つの警告が出された学生は、セッションからの退出が命じられ、30分間の退席となります。30分後に再度参加許可がされますが、その間にそのセッションが終了した場合には次のセッションへの参加をもって参加許可が得られることになり、その旨保護者に通知されます。

The children will be using a range of tools but as far as possible, they will be tools that they have used before in class. In order to make this transition as smooth as possible there is also a support website, which can be accessed here should you have any issues with any of the tools or in setting up parental controls at home. It also offers a range of online learning tools which may be used to support learning outside of school time and a range of activities and wellbeing resources that you may find useful. Educational Assistants will support their class teacher or year group by working with small groups and/or individuals. They will also be available for whole class sessions when needed and to answer any questions. 

生徒ははさまざまなインターネットツールを使いますが、その多くはすでに教室での授業で使用しているものです。 それらのツールをよりスムーズにご活用いただくため、サポートサイトを用意いたしました。使用ツール（Webサイト、アプリケーション）のいずれかに問題がある場合、また保護者制限設定機能設定のサポートが必要な場合はこちらのページからご連絡ください。 サポートサイトではリモートラーンニングをサポートする様々なオンライン学習ツールをはじめ、様々な活動、心と身体の健康のための情報等も紹介しています。また、Educational Assistants（アシスタント）は、対象の特定グループの生徒、または特定の生徒のサポートを行い、クラス担任、学年をアシストします。オンラインセッションにも参加し、生徒からの質問に答える等し、学習をサポートをします。
