The school picnic was today 8/23/19 at Scowjohn. Rose made her wonderful macaroni salad and there were plenty of hotdogs for the fires. A great game of Eskimo baseball was followed by tug of war with the boys first beating the girls, and once again, students beating the staff. Maybe next year...
We had an assembly today 8/21/19 to welcome students back, new teacher Barbara Baysinger, 2nd Step curriculum, and set goals for the year. Try to learn something every day, work on relationships, work on respect.
Early out on Wednesdays (2:30) each week for School and District Staff Development - topics vary but the focus is on school improvement, using data to make decisions about improving student achievement , and implementing an anti- bullying program and monitoring its implementation.
