Sugar Maple Festival Parade (April 20, 2024)
AFJROTC Awards Ceremony (normally a Thursday evening in early May)
ACTIVITIES:
Optional Attendance: (see calendar or Google Classroom for details...some will count for community service hours)
Morale Club - an opportunity to get to know each other better, bond, and participate in activities such as intramural sports, board games, and movies.
Color Guard - AFJROTC presents our Nation’s colors at many events at Bellbrook High School and the community. Color Guard practice provides extra practice in drill for cadets that may need a little more training. Cadets also learn to present the colors (flags) properly and how to handle the rifle. If a cadet is absent from class on drill day, they can make up the participation credit by attending a Color Guard.
Raider's Practice - Provides an additional opportunity for cadets to participate in health and wellness activities in addition to the weekly physical fitness training. Raider's members will meet in the JROTC classroom and will either proceed outside or somewhere in the school. Practice will focus primarily on exercise that will help cadets improve their physical fitness test scores with the opportunity to be selected for an annual Raider Team competition. If a cadet is absent from class on physical fitness day, they can make up the participation credit by attending a Raider's practice.
Community Service - all activities will be placed on the calendar once known. These are optional, but all cadets must complete a minimum of 3 hours per quarter.
