My name is Brittany and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker living in Dallas, TX. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and have been working in Mental Health services since the start of the COVID pandemic. I am a mom, a wife, and a follower of Christ, and I love helping people get through hard times, regardless of who they are or where they come from.
I adore working with children, adolescents, and young adults, and have a lot of experience with the younger population. Before becoming a social worker, I served in the middle school ministry at my church, coached club volleyball for 5 years, and was a substitute teacher for middle and high school. I have worked for a college counseling center, led group therapy in a hospital setting for adolescents, and have even presented continuing education to other mental health professionals on how to work with teens in the field of mental health.
Another specialty population I love to work with are first responders and their families, as I am the wife of a firefighter/EMT and can empathize with those in and connected to emergency services. I have experience working with these amazing men and women in a group therapy setting, and I have training in how to communicate about mental health challenges with military personnel and first responders.
As someone who has lived in rural, suburban, and urban Texas, I understand the unique challenges that come with each territory. Whether you attend a 6-A high school or have corn fields for neighbors, I would love to hear your story and help you get through the rough patches of life.
