Welcome to class 703's summary of America in the Media. Over the past couple of weeks we've been working in groups to write individual essays summing up each decade from the early 1900s to the 2000s. Each decade describes a couple of important artifacts of the time from a few categories: Films, TV shows, Music, News/Politics, and Advertisements. Our webpage summarizes the birth of media, and reflects the themes and trends of the time. Barriers are taken down, racism, sexism and hate are combatted with equality, feminism and love. When one has a century laid out before them in a couple pages, it seems like such a short time, but each decade had their own important piece to add the the ever-growing puzzle picture of America.
