HUMANITIES with MR. BATTAILE

This year, we will be tackling the following units of study: The Teenage Brain, Epidemics, The Harlem Renaissance, and Plastic Pollution. Each unit will be a mix of reading and writing, and will encourage students to think critically about the texts they are reading, and about the world around them.

Seventh Grade:
In seventh grade we will be learning about scale drawlings, rational numbers, proportional relationships, circles, and solving multi-step equations.
Eighth Grade:
In eighth grade we will be learning about ridged transformations, linear relationships, functions, volume, and exponents.

Hello from 305! This year we will be learning about Ecology, Waves, Chemistry, Photosynthesis, Electricity and Magnetism and Gravity and Space. We will start the school year with a short project where students research a scientist or scientific topic of their interest.
