The BHS Register is committed to diversity and is actively trying to attract more diverse backgrounds and perspectives to our team. My Co-Editor-in-Chief is currently working on a story about race discrepancies in Advanced Placement classes. I am working to compare equitable budget cuts across VT districts in my current story. Our social media manager has been trying to showcase more diversity on our Instagram page.
One of our writers wrote about local resistance in the Tibetan community in the district. I edited and guided her through this story, ensuring she covered the Tibetan political climate accurately. The link will be published in our aforementioned posting schedule within the next two weeks!
