Ms. Rachael Sherman is originally from Montpelier, VT. Always a fan of music including chorus, band, piano, hand bells and anything that she could make music with. She received her Bachelors degree from UVM in music education and is currently working on her Masters. After that Ms. Sherman got a job teaching music at Enosburg Falls Middle High School where she taught three different chorus classes, beginning band lessons, music composition, a drama class, and a student led school assembly class.
I love making music in many forms. Singing is where I get the most joy when making music. In the past I have sung with the Vermont Symphony Orchestra Choir, Enosburg Community Chorus and Lyric Theater. As for instruments I currently play piano and am working on learning the ukulele. From 5th grade until a few years ago I played trumpet and most recently I played in a community band and community jazz band.
Theater is another passion of mine. I didn't start pursuing acting until 2010 when I was in my first community theater production. Since then I've been in a lot of musicals and plays throughout Franklin County and recently was cast in a show with Lyric Theater here in Burlington. I've also enjoyed being the director and musical director of High School and Middle School productions of shows the past 10 years.
This is my newest interest. Improv Comedy is a big joy in my life and something I think everyone should get the chance to learn. Getting to be silly as an adult isn't always something people expect but in Improv Comedy it is expected and encouraged. I perform with the Touring Company at Vermont Comedy Club where we have Family Friendly shows. Even now virtually!
