Donations and Fundraising Overview

Our Team is new to both the Montana and National circuits, but is highly competitive, as we have found success at both the State and National levels. To keep up with competition and to stay competitive, fundraising is a necessity. Equipment Costs, Travel Expenses, and National Tournament fees are costly and require monies from fundraising and donations to pay for these necessary operational fees. Any amount is helpful and we are grateful to all who donate to our program. 

We are needing to replace our  Short-Prep and Novice Debate Computers. This will cost our team $40,000. Any donation amount is appreciated!!!

Donating by Check: Please make check payable to “Gallatin High School" and include “Speech & Debate” in the memo field. Checks can be sent or delivered to Coach Jackson.

These Charitable Donations Provide all of the Following:

• Support the purchase of necessary supplies and resources for the students

  • • In 2023, we were able to purchase enough new computers to equip 24 varsity members because of the charitable donations from our wonderful community members!

• Allow student competitors to travel to more tournaments

  • • In 2024 we had to cut the Blacksnake Idaho tournament, due to lack of team funds. Your donations will go towards adding this tournament back to our schedule. 

• Provide food and essentials for student competitors at tournaments 

• Send our Qualifying Competitors to the National Tournament in Des Moines, Iowa in 2025.
