About Me!
My name is Emma Lee and I am a current student at Southridge as a part of the 2025 graduating class! A little bit about me is that I'm an introvert who enjoys spending time with my family and friends. In my free time, I love watching movies, trying new restaurants, and listening to music. I've also always loved things related to horror media and have recently developed an interest in learning about marine life.
I am a part of Beaverton High School's Health Careers Path where I learn various materials to prep for my future such as medical terminology, different career-related information from guest speakers, BLS (basic life support), and much more. I have always been interested in working in the medical field and since I don't get easily grossed out, I think it's a good fit for me! I hope to become a physician or an orthopedic surgeon someday.

As I go through my last two years of high school, I hope to become someone who can act as a role model to others. I want to discover who I am and what I enjoy learning about through the wide variety of classes I plan on taking this year. Although my coursework consists of tougher classes, I wish to pass all of my classes, including the Pharmacy Techician Certification Exam (PTCE) for my advanced health careers class. As I reflect back on my junior and senior year, I am truly thankful that I was able to experience a wide variety of subjects and get to know people who I hope to continue keeping in touch with.
In the future, I am hoping to attend a traditional four year college and hopefully apply for and get into medical school. While my long-term goals seem to hold a lot of weight, I won't hesitate to enjoy my youth by keeping in touch with family and friends. During my college years, I also want to explore what I'm really passionate about by not limiting myself to a certain field/subject of medicine. I'm interested in pharmacy and orthopedic surgery, but I'll also explore different areas of medicine that may pique an interest. I'm also interested in becoming a travel physician because I want to be able to help those who are in situations of economic and financial instability.
