Program Overview
This program is intended to help meet the goal of ensuring our educational system prepares every child to graduate from high school ready to thrive in college and careers by increasing the capacity of the state education agency, local education agency, schools, and local communities to:
1) provide all students with access to a well-rounded education,
2) improve school conditions for student learning, and
3) improve the use of technology in order to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy of all students. [ESEA Section 4101]
Stakeholder Engagement
Annually, during the strategic planning process, the district and each of the schools engages in meaningful consultation with stakeholders to develop goals and focus areas for each of the federal projects and ensure there is alignment to strategic and renewal plans. Stakeholders that are invited to participate include parents, teachers, school leaders, students, community organizations, government representatives, and others with relevant and demonstrated expertise. Additionally, the district engages in continued consultation with stakeholders throughout the school year to improve and coordinate activities.
Needs Assessment
A Comprehensive Needs Assessment is conducted annually as part of the strategic planning process. A data overview along with a link to the district and school report cards can be found here.

Title IV supports activities for well-rounded educational opportunities, activities to support safe and healthy students, and technology. Programs and activities can include STEM, music, art, foreign language, counseling services, safety, attendance interventions, and technology. Historically, we have used Title IV funds to support the purchase of technology, instructional materials, and books.
