Coaching Staff

Maddie Dardanes - Head Coach

Coach D is a graduate of Barrington High School, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Masters graduate from Loyola University. She is a social worker at Barrington High School. Coach D was a co-ed cheerleader for BHS and an all girl & co-ed cheerleader at U of I. The '24-'25 season is her 10th year coaching at BHS. Coach D can be reached at mdardanes@barrington220.org.

Kendall Lydon - JV coach

Coach Lydon is a graduate of Elk Grove High School, Northern Illinois University, and a Masters graduate from Aurora University. She cheered at Elk Grove HS for 4 years and coached Elk Grove Park District Competitive Cheerleading. She is a social worker at Lines Elementary School. The '24-'25 season is her 7th year coaching at BHS. Coach Lydon is the JV coach for fall sideline season and for winter competition season. She can be reached at klydon@barrington220.org.

Sophie Niemaszyk - Assistant Coach

Coach N is a graduate of Barrington High School, the College of Charleston, and a Master's graduate from Loyola University of Chicago. She is a social worker at Kirk School, a therapeutic-day school part of NSSEO. Coach N was a cheerleader at Barrington High School. The '24-'25 season is her 3rd year coaching at BHS! Fred Myles - assistant coach

Coach Myles attended Barrington High School and is a BHS cheer alum. He has continued to stay involved in the cheer world both as an athlete as well as a coach. Coach Myles currently works at Barrington High School as a Campus Attendant. The '24- '25 season is his 2nd year coaching at BHS!
