THE FIRST QUARTER IS OVER! Actually, I meant that as a question...The 1st quarter is over? What is happening? This first quarter absolutely flew by as it was filled with activities impacting both students and staff. Warm weather, outdoor time, 3 and 4 day weekends, Homecoming week, home athletic events for both JH and HS, and so many other things.
Our kids have been busy and are way into the grind of the routine now. Understandably they are tired and a bit stressed at times as well when all those "extra" things get combined with their school responsibilities and their time gets pulled in different directions. Please remember to stay in constant communication with your student(s) about their classwork, their social circles, and their time management plus all the other good stuff going on in their days. It isn't always easy, but I promise, they want and need to talk about what is going on in their days.
If you look below in the Announcements and News of Interest section you will see some important dates and events that are coming up soon at BMS.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me or any staff at BMS. We are happy to help in any way we can.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO EVERY DAY AND ALL YEAR TO MAKE THIS A GREAT SCHOOL YEAR FOR THE 6-8 STAFF!

The 8th graders have had the initial, informational meeting about the 2025 Chicago class trip. The trip will occur on May 8 and 9, 2025.
8th graders were told that they are expected to work at least one athletic event at the concessions stand to earn money off their overall cost for the 2025 trip.
Starting this week, students who currently have only A's, B's on Powerschool will be able to take a daily break during AA in the gym if they choose.
