Each student will be working on a quality improvement project that is selected by their preceptor. Students have 20 hours to dedicate to this project. How the final project is presented is determined by the preceptor. Options are for the student to present to a group, make a PowerPoint for the preceptor to use, make a poster, handout, or trifold.
Objectives of this project are:
Understand the quality improvement process
Be able to directly apply principles of the quality improvement process to patient care
Incorporate findings of the project into the six QSEN principles
