About me: I am a diploma graduate from Bryan College of Nursing in 1999. My first nursing position was a staff nurse on a Med/Surg/Vascular floor. In 2006, I became an Assistant Manager of the unit. I went back to school and received my BSN from BryanLGH College of Health Sciences. In 2012, I became the Nurse Manager of a 24 bed Ortho/Trauma Unit. In 2013, I received my Healthcare Management Certificate from Bryan College of Health Sciences. Then in 2015, I acquired an additional unit - Med/Surg/ Oncology unit, this added another 24 beds and a total of about 100 employees that reported to me. In 2015, I graduated with my MSN in education. I moved to the College in 2016 and have been teaching Leadership and Management in Nursing course ever since. I have since received my Simulation in Nursing Certificate and completed my doctorate.
