The Italian Renaissance
The Renaissance began in the fourteenth century and was the rebirth of cultural movements in Europe. It started in Northern Italy and spread to many parts of Europe like Italy, Vienna, and Milan. It was known for the paintings, architecture, art, music, philosophers, technology, and exploration. Before the renaissance, Europe was in the Middle Ages. With Italy being in the middle ages, they needed to keep moving into a new movement. That started with the Renaissance, and its name resembles a new beginning. As Italy started to progress further into the new period, innovations grew and people thrived. Many civilizations advanced, and Italians grew further artistically. The systems of life became finer. The Italian Renaissance is not only a time period, but a movement, and a rebirth. Many historians view the Renaissance as a crossing bridge between the medieval time modern world.
