Messenger system The Messenger system of Inca has three main parts. The first part is the road witch is called the "Qhupaq Ñan". The second part are the runners they are called "Chasqui" they are the people who run the messages and items. The third part is how write, they dont use paper they use "Quipu."
Qhapaq Ñan
Qhapaq Nan was a road that spread 24,000 miles. The road was the main road that the Chasqui ran on to deliver messages and other items The Qhapaq Ñan was made using local materials and engineering adapted to diverse terrains, with large teams of laborers conscripted through the mita system. The reason that this road was made was so the King could get the fish he wanted. The King Pachacútec was the person who thought to make a road. Was

Chaqui
The Chaqui are the messengers or the runners. Their only job is to run and deliver messages or small items. They were estimated to run 149 miles a day! This form of transportation was very efficient they could deliver a message across the coast in two days or less! This form of commuication did have its ups and downs this system lead to the fall of Inca because the Spanish used the roads the Chaqui used to deliver the messeges and item to take over.
Quipu
Quipu is a system of writing that uses knots and colored strings to speak this was a very easy method of communication. The Chaqui would put the Quipu in there bags and carry them to their destination.
