Academic Algebra 1 Midterm Review

1. 2024+ the midterm covers chapters 1-5 

2. Start preparing NOW!

3. The midterm has 110 points and will be 60 questions  (and you must show your work for full credit).  All the questions will be similar to the problems in the attached study guide.

4. Study Chapter Tests and Practice Test

5. You can bring one 5×7 index card (it must be handwritten and you can use BOTH sides).

6. You can use a calculator for the last 30 minutes to check your work

7. Extra Help: There will be NO review during class time. It is more helpful to answer your specific questions and/or do afternoon study session(s).

   1. Email me to set up a time to go over any questions you have. 

   2. Email me if your class or a small group (minimum 4 students) would like an afternoon study group.  

8. Study Guide: I have attached a Study Guide and the answer key. Many of these problems were on your tests so you can refer back to them to see how to do the problems. I recommend you start preparing now and do 1-2 chapters each day.

9. Tip for Success:  My biggest study tip is to start preparing early and finish a day before the exam.  Create an index card.  Get a good night’s sleep and relax when you take the exam.
