College and Financial Aid Night

COLLEGE NIGHT

Each year the BHS Counseling Department holds an informational meeting for students and their parents/guardians. Topics include searching for colleges, letters of recommendation, SAT/ACT, and more. A panel of Admissions Counselors from area colleges break down the college process and provide useful insight about searching for colleges.  Brunswick High School Counselors continue with specifics about the process including time frames, deadlines, letter of recommendation, using Naviance etc.

FINANCIAL AID NIGHT

During the course of the year, the Counseling Department sponsors an annual Financial Aid Night. This evening is open to anyone who would like to attend, including parents/guardians, students and staff.

This is a great opportunity to get detailed information about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), Expected Family Income (EFI) guidelines, Student Aid Report (SAR), grants, loans, scholarships and work study.  General information about the CSS Profile is also provided.
