It's good for all coaches, and highly recommended for new coaches.
There is now an app for your phone - you can use predetermined training plans, or build your own from the jr.nba's database. All have instructions and many have videos on how to run the drill.
Under 'curriculum' choose the standard appropriate to your team (rookie to MVP), and within each level you will find predefined training plans, videos of the drills for each session, and a checklist of skills players should develop.
You can find drills players can practice at home under 'Jr.NBA at home'.
CoachAny is a very usable app for keeping track of substitutions during the game. It can be downloaded here.
Arriving at training with a plan will help drive a successful session.

Coaches have recommended the following channels for drills and ideas:
Defines the Australian 'style of play', which our club should be implementing.
It defines a 'skills checklist' that players should be developing.
Includes 'Free Coaching Clinics' which are recorded sessions on particular topics.
Under 'Training Session Plans', there's a week 1-4 training plan to get a season up and running with linked video drills.
The 'Coach Education and Development' curriculum provide a series of videos exploring particular coaching topics, including different strategies. Over the course of the videos they build up the complexity of each topic. The skill-based drills (e.g. shooting, defence) by Jarrod Moore have been recommended - you'll need to search Youtube for them as they're not tagged.
