Classroom Management and School Rules – STAR: Safe, Thoughtful, Accountable, Respectful – Positive approach (STAR card). Individual contracts if needed.
Homework/Reading Log – NO homework in Kindergarten until late winter.
Birthdays –School Wellness Policy = NO FOOD. A great alternate to this would be to donate a favorite book, game, or playground equipment to the class. The birthday boy/girl will get a special crown/certificate and sticker on his/her B-Day. There will be no class parties on your child’s birthday.

Class Newsletter/Friday Folder - Newsletter will be sent electronically weekly and all school communication and student work to come home in the Friday Folder. Return the folder every Monday.
