Dow-Jane (D.J.) Pei
PTA Co-President
Dow-Jane and family have lived in Belmont since 2011. She and her husband Cheng have a 6th Grader at Ralston and a 10th grader at Carlmont. Previously, she was very involved at Fox with the annual talent show Foxtravaganza as well as other events throughout the many years at Fox. Dow-Jane currently works at a non-profit Build Up San Mateo County as the Program and Operations Manager. Her experience includes roles at the federal government, non-profits, and philanthropic foundations supporting early care and education policy, infrastructure, and access to child care.

Dyuti has lived in Belmont with her husband, Rajneel (Neel), for 21 years. They have a college freshman and an 8th grader. She has been an active parent volunteer since her older daughter attended Little Hands, Belmont’s beloved, now-shuttered co-op preschool. Hers is a family of individualists who collectively support passions including cycling, travel, dance, writing, music of all types, and reading.

Rachel has lived in Belmont for 10 years with her husband and their two daughters, who are in 7th and 5th grade. She is a psychotherapist specializing in social anxiety, religious trauma, and eating disorders. When she’s not working or volunteering with the PTA, Rachel enjoys going for walks, sipping lattes, and traveling the world.
Tina Sheen
Treasurer
Tina has lived in Belmont with her family for 12 years. With a high schooler and a middle schooler at Ralston, life is always full of energy. Over the years, she has enjoyed being an active parent volunteer in youth sports teams and school events at Central Elementary and Ralston Middle School. She is excited to serve as the Ralston PTA Treasurer. In her spare time, she enjoys running, hiking and traveling with her family.
Charmine Tan
Financial Secretary
Charmine and her family have been part of the Belmont community for several years and truly enjoy being part of such a warm and welcoming place. With a middle schooler at Ralston, life is always full of activities. As a family, they love traveling, exploring new foods, staying active through swimming, baseball, and fitness, enjoying wine tasting, and connecting with neighbors and friends. Charmine is excited to serve on the Ralston PTA and looks forward to supporting the school community and building connections with fellow families.

David Cheng has lived in Belmont since 2020 and is a proud father of 2; one incoming 6th grader at Ralston and another TK at Fox. He has previously served on the Central Elementary PTA Board as EVP and has been involved in numerous events at the school. Professionally, he works at Bank of America as a Senior Vice President in The Private Bank. In his spare time he loves to travel with his family, run, hike and attend sporting events.
