Most of the users took 10 or less minutes to load their laundry into the washer or dryers but sometimes longer if waiting for someones clothes
When someone was waiting for someone to pick up their clothes they resorted to the dorm group chat to notify others that their clothes were ready for pickup
Most people didn’t know when the washer or dryer was full so they kept looking back and forth
Some of the labels in the washer were fading out

Most users said they expected to take 10 or less minutes to finish using the interface
Some said the digital interface felt unnecessary or they don’t have any preference towards one unless it’s effective in saving a lot of time. One person said they would ike a digital interface like the app laundry connect.
There was no clear answer for this question. When they start having to physically push clothes in, if it “looks” full, and one person said that they push down on the top of the stack of clothes that was in the machine and if the clothes can’t move down more, it was full.
This answer varied as well, maybe because some used machines had more faded out labels. Two people said that they were comfortable with the way the sections were labeled for the detergents but one person said that it didn’t make sense that the bleach section was closer to them than the soap section and that sometimes it takes a double take to look at the labels since they are so faded out.
