Clare Boyle, Alumni

Clare Boyle, Brown '20, first became interested in using audio as testimony, interviewing family and friends about the long-term impacts of a school shooting on their hometown. They have taught English for Speakers of Other Languages in Providence since 2016. Through their audio work, Clare explories how stories can support direct action campaigns. Clare also acted as Managing Editor of Brown’s student audio storytelling group, Now Here This, as well as held the position of Creative Technology Assitant at Brown Universty's Multimedia Labs.

Sierra Fang-Horvath, Class of '22.5

Sierra is a junior at Brown studying International Relations with a focus in Security and Society. She's particularly drawn to podcasting and audio storytelling as a means to educate, elevate marginalized voices, and bridge gaps between individuals. For more than five years, she has worked on individual podcasts, projects for student and professional organizations, and radio broadcasts. When she's not in class or at the MMLs editing a podcast, you can find her rock climbing, petting dogs, or taking frequent naps
