TRANSPORTATION

Public Transit via the RIPTA - the RIPTA is Providence's public bus system. Fare is $2 cash, or you can download the Wave app

The Brown Shuttle: The Brown University Shuttle is free for all students, and current students will happily show you how to use it!

Transportation from Airport: the RIPTA lines 1, 20, and 66 will all pick you up at the far end of the commercial roadway in front of the airport terminal, and drop you off within 10 minutes of your hotel.

Transportation from Train Station: The Providence Amtrak Station is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. You can take the RIPTA from Providence Station to within a two minute walk of the hotel.

Parking at Hotel: Valet parking has been included in your room reservation. You are free to come and go from 6am-11pm

"College Hill" - The neighborhood around and including the main campus of Brown University.

Sidney Frank Hall (or SFH) - 185 Meeting Street, Providence RI (on College Hill)

BioMed Center - 171 Meeting Street, Providence, Rhode Island (on College Hill)

"the Jewelry District" - A neighborhood south-west of College Hill, across the river. The location of many MCB and BioMed facilities and labs

The Laboratories for Molecular Medicine (or Ship Street) - 70 Ship Street, Providence RI (Jewelry District)
