We are a group of undergraduates who enjoy math. The mathematical community here may not be large, but we are passionate and friendly! You don't have to be studying math to join the DUG or come to our events-- we welcome everyone!
We help math enthusiasts at Brown form a community and sponsor events to get more people interested in math! We also organize SUMS in the spring, an opportunity for undergrads from Brown and the Northeast to present research they've done.
Come say hi! Every Friday at 4:00pm, we host Math Tea in the Kassar House Common Room. This is a good opportunity to meet other undergrads, faculty, and DUG officers. It's also a good chance to get some informal advice about the math concentration!
UPCOMING: Stay tuned for the next Math Monthly Meeting, a series of math talks destined to undergraduates :)
