Welcome! My name is Jordan and I'll be teaching 1000: The Art of Writing Mathematics this Spring. This website is the official syllabus for Math 1000; by navigating through this site, you'll have a good sense of what it will be like to be one of my students this term. This will help you make an informed decision about whether Math 1000 is the right fit for you. In the first week of classes, the orientation module will expand on some of the details of this syllabus, so don't worry if you don't know about some, or any, of the technologies that are described here.

Please note that due to limited space, there is a small application process to enroll for Math 1000. If you're interested in joining the course in the Spring, please fill out the following Google Form to apply.
