Health Equity Training : Self-Paced Certificate Program

Welcome to the Training Program to Promote Health Equity, a self-paced, semester-long course designed to equip faculty, trainees, and staff with the knowledge, tools, and strategies to integrate health equity into their teaching, research, and community engagement.

Health disparities persist across racial, socioeconomic, and geographic lines, affecting access to care, health outcomes, and overall well-being. As educators, faculty members play a critical role in shaping future professionals who can address these inequities. This program offers a structured yet flexible learning experience to help faculty deepen their understanding of health equity and take meaningful action.

What to Expect

This training is structured into five focused modules, each designed to be completed in 15-20 minutes per session. Through expert insights, real-world case studies, and hands-on activities, faculty will learn how to:
