This national alumni book series grew organically out of the virtual partnerships among Brown's Alumni Clubs that sprouted as we sought community at the height of the pandemic. The inaugural year (2022-2023) saw 6 alumni clubs join to host bi-monthly book club programming. Each makes a suggestion and takes the lead on that month's virtual session. Each participating club nominated a book that captures the zeitgeist of their region and which they would tell a fellow alum: “You gotta read this!" This Year, we are expanding with other collaborations and club/group hosts. Stay tuned for more details. If you have a suggested book you'd like to submit by email [here], Want to participate but locally? We encourage you to follow the same book schedule and coordinate your local club/group event. Is it too much of a lift to host something locally? Share and post about our upcoming events and book lists!
