The Brown Club of Washington, DC's mission is to foster a strong Brown alumni community in the greater Chicago area. This is made possible by an all-volunteer board, made up of undergraduate and graduate alumni of all class years who are passionate about building the Brown alumni community here in Chicago.

What to expect:
You are volunteering to serve on the Brown Club of Washington, DC board for a 2-year term. Board members are expected to contribute their ideas and energy to help plan, organize, publicize, and execute programs and events. Collegiality, commitment, a passion for Brown, and a sense of humor are a must!
Time Commitment:
Board members must be able to attend monthly board meetings, generally held from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Typically you can expect a time commitment of 5-10 hours a month during busier event seasons in the spring through early fall months.
Skills and interests:
Skills or interests in learning more about event planning, marketing and communications, social media engagement, strategy development, organizational management, and the ability to work collaboratively on a team are needed to be a successful Club of Washington, DC board member.
