The honors thesis is a one-year sequence course that culminates in a completed original research paper and thesis presentation. Students work closely with their advisor and second reader on their projects while the course seminar offers a framework for completion. Admission in the honors program is restricted to students who have given evidence of superior performance in Political Science.
Honors students will be introduced by a member of their thesis committee. Each student will give a 10-12 minute presentation on their research project followed by a brief period of Q&A.Â
