CLUBS AT BROPHY

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT CLUBS AT BROPHY COLLEGE PREPARATORY

FAQ'S BELOW

What is a club at Brophy? Clubs and organizations are an integral part of Brophy life. A club is “a group of students organized with a similar interest for a social, literary, athletic, political, or other common purpose. Simply put, clubs offer students the chance to regularly engage in community with their peers and adults during our regularly scheduled community periods.

How do I sign-up for a club? Simple, just show up. Every club listed below meets during our community period and is available to join at any time.

How many clubs should I join?  Determining the amount of student clubs and organizations that you should join is an individual choice. There is no written rule for the optimal number of clubs and organizations one should join. A good rule of thumb is to make sure any club you commit to you are able to attend a minimum of 75% of their meetings. Clubs are only meaningful if you are consistent in your engagement.

Is there a sign-up window for clubs? Clubs will re-register during the beginning of every fall semester but with some very limited exceptions students can join a club at any point during the year. Students looking to start a club outside of the club registration period should contact Mr. Burr at pburr@brorphyprep.org
