Step 1: Start with a surface.
I am using poplar hobby board.
Step 2: Measure the height and width of your surface.
Make sure to write down the numbers so you can resize your photo.
Step 3: Open your photo in Photoshop
Step 4: Select the crop tool
Step 5: Change the proportions to match the size of the surface you are using (from Step 2).
Crop the picture how you want it to look on your surface.
I want my picture to fill the surface I'm using, so I'm going to crop to the exact size of the wood.
Step 6: Go to Image>Image Size. Change the width to match the width of your surface. If you did Step 5 correctly, the height should automatically change to match.
Change your resolution to 150 or higher.
Press ok.
Step 7: Save the cropped photo and find a way to get it on to one of the computers with CorelDRAW. I normally email it to myself, or use a thumb drive.
Step 8: Follow the instructions in this tutorial UP UNTIL THE VERY LAST STEP (#9). Return to this page for printing instructions.
Step 9: In CorelDRAW, go to File>Print. Press OK.
The image will be sent to a new program. If the image doesn't pop up, click the program on the task bar that looks like the image to the right.
