BIS/BHS LIBRARY
The Library Media Center at Brookville Intermediate & High School hosts a variety of services.
We support educators by developing a collection guided by the Core Curriculum standards
and the love of reading.
Students are instructed during weekly library visits to understand and appreciating literature and non-fiction books. They learn the responsibility of taking care of library materials, how to choose books wisely, and how to use technology to find safe, credible information.
Currently, our collection houses over 11,000 fiction and non-fiction books for the students’ academic requirements and personal reading pleasure. Students are encouraged to suggest book titles to add to the collection.
Additionally, over 15 desktop computers and 2 printers are available for student use. Safe searching and top educational information is provided for the students as they learn to use credible sources to find quality information in this fast changing electronic information age.
