Greetings from Mrs. Sherwood, BGM Elementary Principal! BGM Elementary is a small rural district that includes the communities of Brooklyn, Guernsey, and Malcom. We educate roughly 300 students in grades PK-6th grade in the Brooklyn community. We are at the same campus location as our Jr/Sr High School which allows for a lot of collaboration with students, parents, and staff in grades PK-12.
The BGM Elementary staff is committed to high academic success and high expectations of positive relationships and good character. We teach, model, and practice the 6 pillars of character from Character Counts: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship.
