Tutor Bios

Trem Ampeloquio is a junior at Brookfield High, and this is his second year at the Writing Center. Trem is a captain for Varsity Cross Country, while also participating in Indoor Track and Tennis throughout the rest of the year. He is additionally involved in Spanish Honors Society, Student Council, chamber choir, and drama club. As you could probably tell, he loves anything and everything having to do with music. His favorite subjects include biology and math, and he is more than willing to tutor anybody in these subjects as well for anyone who needs it! Trem is extremely excited to collaborate with fellow classmates, and is hoping for yet another successful year at the Writing Center.



Katerina (Katya) Anikeev is a junior at the Writing Center, and this is their second year at the Writing Center. Outside of class, they participate in a variety of clubs, including DECA, Creativing Writing, Art of Thinking, Diversity Club, Model UN, and Student Council. He also likes to watch anime, skateboard, and play video games. Katya is also in Scouts BSA, and loves hiking and backpacking. They can’t wait for another great year tutoring peers.




Parker Ayoub is a senior at Brookfield High School and it is his second year tutoring in the Writing Center. Outside of school, he loves to run, read, sing, and play games! He is also involved in Drama Club, Chamber Choir, and is forming a Board Game Club! He’s excited to be able to help people out this year :)




Hannah Balzi is a junior at Brookfield High School and this is her first year tutoring for the Writing Center. She is involved in several clubs including HOSA, Red Cross, athletic advisory, and friends of Rachel. In addition to her efforts in clubs, she is also involved in girls varsity soccer and lacrosse. You can usually find her on the field, in the gym, doing schoolwork, or babysitting. In the future she would love to be a nurse helping children, but for now she is enjoying school, sports, and life in the moment. She is excited to meet everyone and help as many people she can as a Writing Center tutor.




Alexis Bray is a senior at Brookfield High School and it is her first year as a Writing Center tutor. When she’s not at school, Alexis is doing competitive dance, going to work, or hanging out with her friends. She participates in clubs such as the Human Rights Club, NHS, and Best Buddies. Alexis loves listening to music, going to concerts, watching movies, and drawing. She can’t wait to have the opportunity to help people along their journey of navigating the school year!





Kyra Carlson is a sophomore at BHS and this is her first year as a tutor in the Writing Center. She is part of the Creative Writing club and Art of Thinking and urges you to join as well. She loves reading science fiction and fantasy series and enjoys writing herself. She hopes you can come in and have a great experience at the Writing Center!






Ruby Casey is a junior at Brookfield High School and this is her first year as a Writing Center tutor. Outside of class, she’s a part of the Student Council and plays soccer. Ruby loves to cook, spend time with her friends and family, and take care of her cats. She can’t wait to support her classmates with their work this year!




Skylar Chelednik is a senior at Brookfield High School and this is her third year tutoring at the Writing Center. She is involved with many different clubs, such as National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Key Club. She is also a member of the BHS varsity softball team and enjoys spending time with her friends and family outside of school. Skylar is excited to meet new people and help her peers with their assignments at the Writing Center this year!



Linda Connolly is a senior at BHS and this is her first year as a tutor in the Writing Center. She loves playing her saxophone in concert and jazz band and plays her favorite songs on her bass guitar at home. She is in NHS and has a part-time job that she goes to after school. At home, she loves binge-watching TV and hanging out with her dog and three cats. She is very excited to help out fellow students at the Writing Center!




Madelyn Cumberton is a senior at BHS and it’s her third year tutoring at the Writing Center! She loves to read and write fiction and is part of the Creative Writing club. She is excited to be coming back for her last year of tutoring her peers at the high school and looks forward to continuing in college as well.






Alexa Dattner is a senior at Brookfield High School and is returning for her third year as a Writing Center tutor. Alexa is captain of the girls soccer team, president of the school's environmental club, Club E, and a member of the Human Rights Club. When she's not in school Alexa enjoys reading, watching TV, and hanging out with her friends. She is looking forward to a great final year at the Writing Center and is excited to help her peers!


Amanda Dempson is a junior at BHS and is super excited to be a tutor for her first year at the writing center. Outside of school, Amanda plays for Brookfield’s varsity volleyball team and when she’s not on the court she enjoys her hobbies of reading and writing. English has been her favorite subject since middle school and she’s enjoyed the variety of different english courses and electives that she’s taken so far. She recently joined the Spanish Honors Society due to her love for language, and she hopes she can help others with whatever they bring to her. Amanda is thrilled to be a part of the writing center and she can’t wait to see what this year brings!




Maahi Dhote is a senior at Brookfield High School and it’s her first year at the Writing Center. In her free time, when she isn’t doing school work, she plays field hockey, and tries to stay involved in community through clubs like NHS, Student Council, DECA and the Human Rights club. She loves watching Netflix, enjoys listening to music, and hanging out with her friends. Maahi is so excited to have the opportunity to help peers with their wort.




Cawley DiStephan is a senior at Brookfield High School and this is her second year in the Writing Center. She takes her academics seriously and is a part of some school clubs including the Human Rights Club, National Honor Society, and Spanish Honor Society. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, listening to music, singing, and spending time with her friends. She is so excited to meet new students and help out in any way she can.




Elissa Eddy is a junior at Brookfield High School, and is honored to be back tutoring at the Writing Center for the second time in her high school career! Aside from her dedication to academics, Elisa is a member of the varsity volleyball Team for BHS, plays volleyball on travel teams outside of school, and runs track in the spring. One of her favorite pastimes is helping others through Peer Counseling, Best Buddies, Brookfield Youth Commission, and volunteering. In her free time, Elisa enjoys exercising, spending time with friends and family, shopping, and traveling. She is beyond excited and grateful to be a part of the Writing Center team once again!






Ayeisha Gener is a junior at Brookfield High school and she has been a part of the Writing Center for two years. In school, she is a part of multiple clubs such as Peer Counseling, Key Club, and UNICEF. She enjoys playing volleyball as well. She is looking forward to a great year of helping numerous students and working with other tutors.





Charlotte Goodsell is a sophomore at BHS and this is her first year as a tutor in the Writing center. She plays lacrosse, loves spending time with people, and is always open to making new friends. She is very excited to meet new people and help out new students at the Writing Center this year!




Meghan Guilbeault is a Sophomore at Brookfield High School and it is her first year as a Writing Center tutor. In addition to her academics Meghan is on the cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track team. She loves sports, being with family and friends. She is so excited to be able to be part of the Writing Center and help and support her fellow classmates this year!


Kelsey Gunn is a junior at Brookfield High School and it is her second year as a Writing Center tutor. Kelsey is a captain of the cheerleading team at BHS and also involved in athletic advisory as well as other extracurriculars. She enjoys helping others and is excited for this school year to support and assist her peers!



Emma Lonergan is a junior at Brookfield High school and this is her first year at the Writing Center. Inside of school, Emma takes her studies seriously while participating in a few clubs. Outside of school, Emma is captain of the girls lacrosse team and an active player of the girls soccer team. She is very excited to work here this year and help anyone that needs it!




Bailey Mahoney is a senior at Brookfield High School and is returning for her third and final year as a Writing Center tutor, a true veteran. Bailey is a captain of the girls swim and dive team this year as well as a peer counselor and the president of the Women in STEM club. She enjoys reading, writing, music, being in nature and hanging out with her friends and family. She is so excited to help tutees feel more comfortable with writing and to introduce them to the joy of the Writing Center candy basket.




Pranav Mamidanna is a sophomore at BHS and this is his first year as a tutor in the Writing Center. He’s in Jazz Band where he plays drums, and is part of Math Team. He also likes to draw, and play basketball. He is excited to talk to new people and make Writing Center fun and helpful.


Sofia Mangini is a junior at Brookfield High School and this is her second year in the Writing Center. She’s involved in Debate Team and is looking for other activities to take part in. Outside of school, she is busy with work, other activities and volunteering. In her free time she enjoys scrolling on TikTok or Instagram and cooking or baking. Sofia is looking forward to helping others with their work.


Anushka Manohar is a Junior at Brookfield Highschool and this is her second year at the Writing Center. In her free time, she plays field hockey and stays involved in the community by participating in clubs like Best Buddies, HOSA, and Human Rights Club. Anushka loves to read, listen to music, and hang out with friends. She's so excited to work with her peers this year!


Omkar Maralappanavar is a junior at Brookfield High School and this is his second year as a Writing Center tutor. He runs Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track. In his free time, he plays chess. A lot of chess. Some clubs that Omkar participates in are Key Club and Math League. He is excited for another year of tutoring.



Jormani Martinez is a sophomore at Brookfield High School and is joining the Writing Center for the first time this year. He enjoys exercising, reading, listening to music, and socializing with friends and family when he is not in class. This year, he is looking forward to working at the Writing Center and meeting new people!


Kayleigh O'Connor is a junior at Brookfield High School and this is her first year tutoring for the Writing Center. She is on the high school girls swim team and she participates in the National Art Honors society and runs the high school’s very own garden club. She enjoys outdoor activities, drawing, writing and loves to spend a lot of time with friends and family.

Maddie O'Farrell is a sophomore at Brookfield High School and this is her first year tutoring at the Writing Center. She is involved with the Friends of Rachel Club and HOSA club. Along with that, she is a manager for the track and field team (both indoor and outdoor). In her free time, Maddie enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, and shopping. She is looking forward to working at the Writing Center this year and can’t wait to meet new people!




Avedis Ovanessian is a junior at BHS. This is his first year at the Writing Center. In addition to academics, he plays football and lacrosse, is in FBLA and athletic advisory, and his favorite pastime is to hang out with friends. He wants to play lacrosse in college and be a doctor when he is older. He can’t wait to start working with his peers at the Writing Center!




Olivia Paul is a senior at Brookfield High School and this is her second year as a tutor for the Writing Center. Outside of school, she is involved with the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Key Club, and the Red Cross Club. She enjoys going to art museums, reading historical fiction, and listening to music. Olivia loves working with other students and is excited to be at the Writing Center!





Erik Pizzirusso is a sophomore at Brookfield High School and is looking forward to his first year of tutoring. He spends his spare time listening to conceptual metal albums and reading fantasy books. His favorite songs are Dawn of Victory by Rhapsody, The Raven Child by Avantasia, and F.T.L. by Keldian. He is grateful for the opportunity to work with others as a tutor.

Alexa Quiroz is a Junior at Brookfield High School, and this is her first year as a BHS Writing Center tutor! In addition to her academics, she does cheerleading and enjoys her time with friends and family. Alexa loves helping and learning about others as she desires to be a doctor when she grows up, helping is her number 1 goal in mind! I’m excited for this opportunity at the Writing Center to be able to help others and make a difference!






Chloe Rey is a senior at Brookfield High School and this is her second year in the Writing Center. Besides the Writing Center, she is also a member of National Honors Society, Human Rights Club, Friends of Rachel, and Key Club. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with friends.







Julia Roberto is a senior at BHS and this is her first year working as a tutor at the Writing Center. She loves to read and write fiction, poetry and prose. She also participates in other activities outside of school such as Peer Counseling, Spanish and French Honor Society, National Honor Society and Drama Club. Julia is beyond excited to begin her work as a tutor this year and hopes to make a difference for those she tutors.


Hanna Scallon is a senior at Brookfield High School and this is her third year tutoring at the Writing Center. Hanna plays softball and volleyball here at BHS and loves watching sports on TV as well. She participates in clubs like National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Friend’s of Rachel, and Key Club. She loves the Writing Center and is excited to tutor for her last year of high school!


Samhita Shirsat is a senior at Brookfield High School and it is her first year at the Writing Center! Outside of class, she is involved in DECA, Key Club, UNICEF club, Spanish Honor Society, and the Brookfield Youth Commision. In her free time she loves traveling, reading mystery novels, and playing the piano. Samhita is excited to work with her classmates on their writing projects!


Catherine Sollose is a sophomore at Brookfield High School and this is her first year at the Writing Center. Outside of class, she plays sports, hangs out with her friends, exercises, and spends time with her dog. She is an active member of athletic advisory, the soccer team, and the basketball team. She's so excited to work with her peers and support her classmates this year!


Rachel Tang is a junior at Brookfield Highschool, and it is her second year at the Writing Center.



Alyssa Termotto is a senior at Brookfield Highschool, and it is her first year at the Writing Center.



Nina Tremonte is a junior at Brookfield Highschool, and it is her first year at the writing center. Outside of school, Nina plays lacrosse and field hockey and is a captain in both sports! Along with the Writing Center, Nina is a member of Best Buddies and Athletic Advisory. She’s excited to help and meet new people this year!





Lauren Uffer is a senior at Brookfield High School, and this is her first year tutoring for the Writing Center. She is a part of multiple clubs, currently in the Psychology Club, Diversity Club, and Girl Scouts. She is aiming to be a Psychologist when she grows up due to her love of helping others. She is a very energetic, friendly person and loves meeting new people. She also loves putting a smiley face after her name most times.


Carolena Vicale is a senior at Brookfield High School. She has been a tutor at the Writing Center since her junior year. She’s in several clubs including three honor societies. She is also a massive fan of reading fantasy and murder mystery novels. When she’s not at school, she’ll most likely be found with her friends or sleeping on the couch because binge reading takes its toll on the mind. She enjoys helping people and helping everyone stay positive and have a fun time. She’s very bubbly and has a loud personality. She’s very excited and grateful for this year!




Ava Wassmuth is a sophomore at Brookfield High School and this is her first year in the Writing Center! In addition to her academics, she participates in Key Club, Leo Club, Red Cross Club, and the Athletic Advisory. She also plays softball for travel and high school teams. She loves to socialize with her friends, bake, and listen to music in her free time! Ava is looking forward to helping others become more confident in their writing abilities this year and in years to come!
